Dr.
Joyce Battaglia provides chiropractic care without twisting
or jerking the neck or back. The methods she uses have
proved successful in eliminating a wide variety of ailments.
Patients, young and old, find her chiropractic adjustments
gentle and comfortable.
Dr. Battaglia designs a program of care specific to
each patient including recommended instructions to speed
the return of good health and vitality. She then spends
time with each patient to explain the purpose and benefits
of the plan of care.
Dr. Battaglia received her North Carolina Chiropractic
license in 1996 and has be serving the Lake Norman area
since 1997. She is a Cum Laude graduate from Palmer
College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. In addition,
she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Niagara University
in Niagara Falls, NY with a Bachelor of Science degree
in Biology.
Dr. Battaglia is continually updated with the latest
advances in patient care by participating in a wide
variety of seminars presented by nationally recognized
authorities. Seminar topics include chiropractic radiology,
clinical disorders, sports injury management, and pediatric
care.

Her "Chiropractic Q & A" newspaper column
has been published in the Lake Norman Gazette, the Gaston
Gazette and A Peak at Summit magazine. Her column features
timely information on health topics of general interest

Dr.
Battaglia was among the final 8 national candidates
for the "1998 Person of the Year" award sponsored
by the profession's leading publication, Chiropractic
Economics. This award is to recognize leaders in the
chiropractic profession that have shown outstanding
qualities and contributions to the chiropractic.
Dr. Battaglia is actively involved in research. She
has developed a comprehensive database for tracking
case results on a wide variety of disorders. The results
of this research will be used to prepare increasingly
accurate schedules of patient care.
